Gone for a week

Hey! for anyone actually reading this, I just want you to know that I'll be gone for the next week, so, just thought I'd throw that out there. That way, if anyone does happen to leave a comment and it isn't replied to, then you'll know that I'm gone and not being rude and ignoring people, lol. Thanks for the comments in Chatterbox! God and an evil world

Hi! I've been observing (on the net, of coarse) some peoples thoughts toward, and in some cases reasons for not believing in God. One argument I've seen is that if there was a God then why is the world the way it is? In other words, they are blaming the evilness of the world on God or saying that if God did exist then the world would be at peace.

This answer is actually NOT my own, but I got it from somebody that I met on a mission trip and I immediately fell in love with his reasoning, because I had actually never thought of it this way before.

Anyway, for anyone who uses this argument, let me ask you something: Let's say that you go out and do something evil, such as kill somebody or do something mean to somebody, or just anything that you know to be wrong that you might regret or have to pay the consequences. Who do you blame it on? Yourself or God? I would definitely hope that you blamed it on yourself, for YOU are the one who committed the evil act, not God.

So, if you said you'd blame yourself and yet you still blame the world on God, then how dare you! If you would blame yourself for your evil action, then who is to blame for the way the world is but the PEOPLE of the world who made it that way? This is just something to think about. Remeber also that God stays out of free will, thus letting people believe and act however they want. He does this because if He were to proclaim Himself in front of everyone so that they would believe in Him, then He would be forcing Himself on the people, thus not giving them the right to decide for themselves. This being said, we now know that God doesn't influence EVERYONE in what they believe and how they act apon that belief, so how can God possibly have anything to do with the evil in the world when it's committed by the people who have free will to believe and act as they want? That's not God's fault, it's the people's fault for not acting correctly.

If anyone at all would like to respond to this through comments or chatterbox, then you're more than welcome ^^ just remember to be respectful if you have an opposing opinion. It's absolutely fine if you don't agree with me, but just remember that any hateful or disrespectful comments will be thrown out, so there's no point in leaving them if you want your opinion to be heard.

Ok, so, like I've said... gotta have interaction for this to work... please leave comments!!! Is there something you would like me to post about? Then you gotta let me know! Otherwise, there won't be much on this site and it won't work out very well... Xangans, just leave comments as usual and Pollsters may use the chatterbox unless you also have a Xanga account and then you can use either! Please, all I'm asking for is feedback! Even if it's negative, I don't care, I just want feedback, just remember to be nice!

Hey! You know how I said that I wished there was a way for you to not have to have a Xanga account to comment? Well, I found a way!!! To the right you'll see a little box that should say "Chatterbox" on it, so now all of you who got here from the link who don't have Xanga accounts can still leave comments! So, that's cool, I'm glad I found it. From my understanding all you gotta do is either leave it as anonymous or type in your own username.

So now anyone can leave a comment, either by using the comments or the chatterbox! That really helps make the site even more interactive than I'd originally planned!

Hello! Things continue to seem to be going great! The only thing I need now are some commenters, hopefully some of wich are from the message boards! The whole point of this is that I can't accomplish my goal all by myself, I want this to be interactive... A place where Christians get together and encourage each other, if you will. So, leave some comments, even if you're not from the boards!

Thanks to Photoshop and HTML I've now created a link to this site in the form of a banner rather than just a hyperlink, and also a signature for my posts on this site! So, that's probably no big deal to some of you computer geniuses but it means something to me cuz I figured it out, lol. Ya, my banners aren't really anything special, they kinda looks like a little kid made them, but I think I'm going to use that look as a kind of theme.

I really wish I could've used a site that didn't require some kind of membership in order to post comments, but sadly this is the best I could come up with.

So, anyway... I'd appreciate any comments whatsoever so don't be afraid to speak up. If you have any ideas or anything like that for this site then please let me know and I'll do my best. For any of you that are here because you clicked the link, if you have a Xanga then feel free to log in and tell me what you think! If you don't but want to say something then you can always create one, creating an account is easy! I suppose if you didn't want to go through the trouble then you could always comment on the boards... Just always remember my comment rule: Always be respectful!

Hello! I just created a link to this site so that I can put it on my posts from now on! I know this site doesn't have much yet, but I'm hoping and praying that in the future it will be worth the effort of creating it. Like I said, as of now it's just a project, but I'm going to go ahead and start attaching the link and if things don't work out later I'll let you know.

The main goal of this is to try and get the attention of more than just the Xanga community so that as many people as possible are exposed to Jesus Christ and get that oppurtunity to change their lives forever! I hope I get the chance to discuss my beliefs and overall set the best Christ-like example I can. I guess you could call this my mission statement.

I'm going to keep working with this site and hopefully it'll be worth the work before too long!

For future reference: If any of you clicked on the link I left on one of my posts and came here and just happened to already have a Xanga site, then by all means feel free to log on and leave a comment! If you don't agree with something I've said and would like to let me know, I have absolutely no problem with that, all that I ask is that you let me know respectfully, as I respect your opinions. Differing opinions is nothing to get upset about, and I can tell you this from experience because I have made a big deal out of something I shouldn't've, but I realized this and went back and apologized (hey, no one's perfect). So, just try to avoid having to apologize and be respectful in the first place. Thank you.

Hello. This is God's Bass Player from the message areas of Misterpoll.com and also more recently the message boards on Youth4him.com. I mainly post in religious areas or anywhere that I would like to share my views. This Xanga is a project I came up with to try some different things to interact with Xangans and users of message boards and hopefully some of those users have Xanga sites as well! To be perfectly honest, I don't really know the purpose of doing this, it was just an idea I had. I currently have created 1 poll on Misterpoll, but I might start creating more and then using this site to host them. This is just another way for me to express my Christianity, hopefully I will accomplish something.

I'm still keeping my personal information secret, such as my name and all that stuff that I'd rather some people not know. So, if by chance you know who I am (sometimes it's a small world, sometimes it's not) from Misterpoll or Youth4him then swing by and leave me a comment!
